What Is Hypnosis?
All hypnosis is, is a natural state of hyper-suggestibility & receptivity. We all go in & out of hypnosis all day long and we may not even realize it. Have you ever been driving and missed your exit because your mind was focused on something else? Have you ever cried while watching a movie or reading a book? All of these are examples of this natural state, as you were suggestible to something or someone. Most of all, we are highly suggestible to ourselves - so keep your thoughts positive!
What does hypnosis feel like?
Each person experiences hypnosis in their own way - some clients may feel tingly, a heaviness or lightness, some may feel similar to a meditative state, while some may feel simply relaxed & in a "day dreaming" mode, while others may feel not much at all & even wonder if they are even hypnotized! All of these are normal & common. You will always be in control & aware during the whole session. I cannot make you quack like a duck or do anything you don't want to - that is stage hypnosis for entertainment value. Hypnotherapy is for therapeutic purposes.
